I feel little awkward when asked to talk about myself. Usually I am the seclusive kind of a person who likes to live alone in routine life. But when it comes to my work, which is my passion, I connect with people and get along with them quite easily.
So here I am, Saying Hello and telling you how I chose Photography as a profession.
Never knew a fervent trekker, roaming with a Kodak would dream to be a professional photographer and make this science an integral part of my life. Born and brought up in Maharashtra, influenced and inspired by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj since 4th standard took me to mighty Sahyadri. I have visited and studied over 200 forts and many untrodden routes till date.
I have always had a keen interest in photography and started taking photography more seriously since 2012 with the purchase of my first DSLR. I’ve always loved nature and travel, but a love of photography developed much later when I realized I wanted to take better pictures of the places I saw, rather than just snapshot records. As I attempted to learn more about the art of taking pictures, I realized that my heart lay in photography and now it is this love that drives me to pick up my camera.
When I decided to quit my career in IT and took photography as a profession over four years ago, I didn’t know what my style was going to be like. What sort of photographs you take reveals your nature, how you like to travel, what kind of books you read and how honest you are to yourself. All these things together reveal you as an individual and eventually your art.
I strive to bring life into the photographs, so every frame narrates itself. I try to be as unobtrusive as possible in the wedding. I merge as if I am your family member and treat your wedding from the same perspective, not just a photographer’s and still don’t miss anything. I need time and trust. Just sit back and relax once you have hired me to document the biggest day of your life. I promise tireless efforts with all my creative instincts to deliver a story you will cherish forever. I don’t like to compromise on quality.
I prefer to edit each photo individually rather than creating presets and batch process to make sure they look clean and timeless, so they will be as relevant 50 years down the line as they are now. I have never used readymade effects and presets to edit photos.
So why don’t you give a call or drop me a mail if you want me to document the most important day of your life?
Let’s get together and make dreams come true!
